I want to share a story with you — one that’s deeply personal and, in many ways, the reason why «Grow it Back» came to life.Years ago, I stood in the mirror and saw a little less of myself.Once thick and full of life, my hair had begun to thin, taking a piece of my identity with it.
As a biomedical engineer at NASA, I was no stranger to solving complex problems, but this was different and personal. My journey through the maze of hair loss treatments — from ineffective topicals to prohibitively expensive surgeries — left me feeling defeated.
I just knew there had to be a better way. Driven by this personal struggle, I embarked on a quest that went beyond my professional expertise.I delved deep into the science of hair growth, seeking not just to understand but to find a solution that was both effective and accessible.
This quest led me to Laser Phototherapy LPT, a beacon of hope in the overwhelming darkness of hair loss.
Yes! Anyone who has suffered from the pain of losing their hair due to genetics, stress, medications, hormone imbalances or other reasons, will benefit from the information you’ll find in “Grow It Back”. Both men and women ages 18+ of any ethnicity can greatly benefit from the laser phototherapy treatment results described in this book.
I want to get this information and information to as many people as possible so they can benefit from this new breakthrough LPT technology. If this simple information can dramatically change your life, we’re thrilled to help you get it. There is information in this book that describes how to purchase and use laser-based regrowth tools, but you’re under no obligation to buy. The info in this book alone will change the way you approach hair loss forever. Laser Phototherapy (LPT). is such a breakthrough in hair restoration, and it’s time the world more about it. To get the word out faster, I want you to benefit by receiving the digital version for a fraction of the full price of $29.98- you pay just $9.99, but this is for a limited time only.
For laser light to affect your hair roots, it needs to be absorbed by the cells located deep within your scalp at the base of your hair follicles. When specific wavelength of light hits your scalp, the mitochondria within these cells get stimulated to stop hair loss and triggers hair growth. The way it works is like the way plants grow. Plant cells change the light they receive into chemical energy to make food, and similarly, human skin cells convert light energy into chemical energy that is then used to regrow hair.
This book was written with everyone in mind. That means, you don’t need an advanced science degree to understand the concepts of laser light and its impact on hair growth. The author took special care to write “Grow It Back” at a level that anybody can comprehend. You do not need to understand the details of laser phototherapy or other scientific concepts. The information is broken down into simple easy-to-understand language.
What you’ll learn from this book is that laser phototherapy (LPT) is so revolutionary and accepted by clinicians worldwide especially because LPT has no known side effects. This has been proven in multiple, peer-reviewed clinical trials to be safe with zero side effects. No other hair loss prescription treatment or over-the-counter product can say the same.
The information in this book has never been published in one comprehensive book. If you were to consolidate all the info you find in this book by searching online, you would spend endless hours and still not know for sure whether the info has been validated by science. We’ve taken all the latest data about hair loss treatments and scalp health and created this first-of-its kind, easy to read, step-by-step guide. You’ll discover the real truth about what happens to your hair as you age and the best approaches to minimize your hair loss and actually re-grow your own hair. "Grow it Back: How Laser Phototherapy Stops Hair Loss and Regrows Your Hair" by Sayyid Tamim Hamid is the perfect book for men and women who experience hair loss and are attempting regrow their hair or stop the hair loss. Sayyid Tamim Hamid explains how Laser Phototherapy (LPT) is the best and safest way to treat hair loss or regrow hair. Hamid states in the opening pages of the book that "my mission and goal are to provide the most complete resource on laser phototherapy ever created. I aim to resolve everyone's concerns and I genuinely mean everyone's, about hair loss and hair growth. Yet unlike a tent preacher's call, my message is based on scientific evidence, and it can be easily understood by anybody of any age." I think this sums up this book very well. It is very easy to understand and follow the science and facts surrounding laser phototherapy. Hamid includes an entire chapter devoted to addressing and dispelling the myths surrounding LPT. He explains the most common causes of hair loss, including genetics, stress, and hormones. He writes about other treatments for hair loss and treatment and includes explanations for why some of these treatments do not work. He writes in a way that makes all of these things easily understood. You do not need to be a scientist to read this book!

An In-Depth, Honest and Thoughtful Deep Dive into a Potentially Life-Changing Hair Treatment
It was initially intriguing to learn a book about hair growth was written by a NASA space engineer. My hair has been thinning for a while; therefore this laser phototherapy is a true curiosity — especially as we know about some other hair treatments which don't work or require one to keep using the product for life. After trying chemicals and entertaining the idea of surgery to re-establish my mane, I wound up letting nature take its course. Grow It Back was more enlightening for me than I had expected. We all want to look our best to help us feel as such and hair is an important part of that. While author Tamim Hamid knows the desire to re-capture one's hair can make people desperate to try almost anything, he does not treat the reader as if he or she were a mark. Instead, he speaks through his book to one as someone in need of real information from a proverbial straight-shooter with scientific knowledge under his belt. Grow It Back provides a real education into not only what Laser Phototherapy is, but also describes the problems with past treatments from the snake oils to those posing as laser phototherapy's cousins. Throughout this informative book, Hamid seems to know many of his readers, like myself, may have been spurned before by failed treatments after high expectations. He walks the reader through the science behind laser phototherapy as well as the biological facts about hair loss. Hamid also dispels several myths surrounding hair re-growth and this process. The author is also honest about potential temporary side effects, but is also reassuring not with empty platitudes, but his expert and knowledgeable presentation. Losing one's hair may seem trite to some, but to many it's a very serious and sensitive issue — for both men and women. With Grow It Back, Tamim Hamid displays true understanding of that and offers honesty and real information instead of fluff and hyperbole. This book is an important read for anyone looking for real answers to their hair loss at any stage.
Grow it Back
This author is a biomedical engineer whose own hair stated thinning and wanted to find a way to restore his hair. He gives us a very detailed science lesson on how our bodies need light for all kinds of reasons, such as laser light to regrow hair, how we need natural light just to heal our bodies as they did during 1918 with the big flu outbreak. Red laser light or cold laser light is not harmful to us, it won't burn our skin and won't cause scarring. There are many ways to try and hide thinning areas in your scalp, wigs, hair extensions and one I've never heard of scalp tattoos. LPT or light phototherapy can work well on people, it just takes months before you see any results. Some cases, such as advanced loss are harder to treat if they can be treated at all. Women are more apt to seek treatment than men are. The usage of the LPT hat is 20 minutes, this seems to be the most useful amount of time to start hair restoration. Hats or helmets coming from another country come with warnings a they don't regulate the amount of heat and that can be harmful. It is also a must to careful you don't mix up LED light either LPT because LED light does not promote regrowth. So in conclusion make sure your helmet is made in the states, is not LED but cold laser light and wear for only 20 minutes for several months to get the outcome you desire.
Must Read for the Follicly Challenged
This book is an awesome guide through the history and intricacies of hair loss, various treatments, and the innovative world of laser therapy. As someone who has (embarrassingly) been dealing with this problem for years now, it is a welcomed alternative to the pills, tonics and potions out there. This author effectively translates decades of extensive evidence-based clinical studies and research into layman's terms, ensuring people like myself (those without a scientific background) can actually understand what this type of therapy is all about. I've been trying to figure out the confusing landscape of hair loss (and hopefully restoration) for years now and this easy-to-understand and inspirational outline is indeed a breath of fresh air making this book a must-read for anyone on the quest for a follicular revival.
Grow It Back /Restore Hair
Grow It Back by Tamim Hamid is a very extensive detailed book. Wonderful information and easy to read. Theradome is a fitted hat/helmet with lasers that promote hair restoration and growth. Throughout the book the author explains the importance of a healthy scalp. The importance of a healthy diet, healthy within to the outer of ourselves. With the correct diet, vitamins, shampoos and conditioners the Phototherapy is successful. The author and inventor focuses on healthy cell repair. The author is very informative throughout the book also includes success stories. Very inspirational to the reader. The author also discusses how hair loss is contributed to others factors as stress, environment, genetics, and diet. Facts about laser Phototherapy are well written with solid evidence, and explained perfectly. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to educate themselves on how to stop hair loss and regrow hair. Hair health in depth. Excellent writings 5 stars.
Hair-raising information
It has been said that a woman's hair is her crown and glory, and I for one agree. That's why I thought it prudent to read 'Grow It Back' by Tamim Hamid, a former NASA scientist and the inventor and CEO of Theradome. Without being overly technical and scientifically verbose, Hamid explains how laser therapy can stimulate hair growth in both men and women who may be affected by hair loss conditions such as alopecia areata and/or chemotherapy for cancer treatment. In addition to simply just plugging the laser treatment, Hamid also details the shampoos, conditioners, and supplements needed for the most successful hair loss treatment plan. The information is laid out so plainly and logically, which makes it incredibly easy to absorb. This is an invaluable resource in the battle against hair loss that discusses restoration at the cellular level. This isn't a quick fix or a temporary patch-up; it appears to be the real thing. Overall, I give this book five out of five stars and highly recommend it to anyone who may be considering this treatment for themselves or a loved one.
Well done!
I remember when people used shoe polish to cover their balding heads. Others would use wigs or hairpieces, and some would find scalp spray the same color as their hair. There was even such a thing called a scalp weave. Then they tried Rogaine, a treatment they applied to their scalp twice daily. Other things that were tried were scalp massages, essential oils, thickening shampoos, vitamins, prescription medications, and hair transplants. The cause of baldness has long been a mystery, but what is certain is that people who have the problem go to great lengths to grow hair. This book is the best one I've ever read on how to accomplish that desire to slow down hair loss and grow new hair. 'Grow It Back: How Laser Phototherapy Stops Hair Loss and Regrows Your Hair' is what you should read to accomplish your goals. NASA scientist Tamim Hamid understands what it takes to grow back your hair. The book discusses the benefits of light and how to make it work for you using laser phototherapy (LPT). The author goes in-depth in this book about hair growth, why we lose our hair, and why what you're doing now doesn't work. If you have thinning hair or baldness, and you'd like to restore your hair to its glory days, this is the book you need. I highly recommend it and would recommend it to family members whose loved ones are facing this problem. This book will explain what this method involves and why it works.
Hair Restoration Guide at its finest
Grow It Back: How Laser Phototherapy Stops Hair Loss and Regrows Your Hair was written by a former NASA scientist and the inventor and CEO of Theradome, Sayyid Tamim Hamid. The former NASA scientist has 40 years of experience in lasers and biomedical engineering. He references extensive evidence-based clinical studies and translates decades of research into easy-to-grasp terms so anyone can appreciate the benefits of this life-changing technology. For years men and women alike have experienced hair loss. This can be a very devastating time for some individuals. Making those effected willing to try most anything. Over the years, there have been and still are many ways to attempt to combat this affliction. There are supplements, potions. Lotions and surgical procedures. Hamid's book exposes us to the most successful treatment, to date, for this issue. Laser Phototherapy (LPT) seems to be the way to go. Hamid's creation of the Theradome is a tool to use this cutting edge treatment. The author takes us through the reasons people lose hair, the time frame to be able to utilize treatment and so much more. I never realized how important a healthy scalp is. Even though I do not suffer from hair loss, I know those who do. Thus information would be very helpful to those going through this. The book is informative, well written, and a wonderful guide for anyone experiencing hair loss or perhaps have a loved one going through this!
Helpful
Informative read for anyone exploring treatment options.
Informative and Moving!
Like any normal human being, when my dad realized he was losing hair, he started Googling like crazy. He found and tried a lot of things and after about a year, lost the enthusiasm on what seemed like a lost cause. Until we stumbled upon this book. I quickly picked this book up for him after seeing almost everyone talking about it with high praises. This book is truly informative and moving, it shifted his mind in the right direction. Though the whole process, or just the fact that you're trying something out all over again can be daunting to most, hearing about success stories of others will definitely give you a confidence boost. Overall, if you're losing your hair, the first thing I will say (and probably should have started with) is, you're not alone. It's a common problem. If you can, reduce the stress in your life and ask for help. Then start feeding your hair from the inside and outside. I saw my dad secretly turn into basically a human guinea pig for a long while and tried whatever he could. And I'm sure finding a solution will be different for everybody. But this journey for us just got a lot better after learning more about laser phototherapy.
Well researched and packed with 8nformation
The author of this book, Sayyid Tamim Hamid, is one smart individual! With not just one, but 3, engineering degrees you would assume he's good with information and you assume correctly. Mr. Hamid is well educated and a man of many talents. He had worked at NASA as well several multimillion dollar corporations. Mr. Hamid site many sources for his information and obviously did his research. This book is started with a history of light therapy and its many uses but moves into its main emphasis of light therapy for hair. The author goes on to present an extensive review of the anatomy of hair and hair growth, building up to the history and modern day use of hair products. He continues to go more in depth on the possible cause of hair loss and the treatments that have been used down through the years. The book really seems to have been written to introduce the author's light therapy treatment for the treatment of hair loss and promotion of new hair growth. As such it seems it would read more like an infomercial. But the book is truly more a work of non fiction with a thorough history about hair and the loss of hair.
What does a NASA Scientist know about hair? Plenty!
What does a NASA Scientist know about hair? Plenty! Tamim Hamid PhD has written the most comprehensive and up to date book about hair that could possibly exist. Evidently what we don't know about hair could fill volumes. This book is for anyone who wants to know how to stop hair loss and actually regrow their own hair. The author covers every aspect of hair health, citing studies as well as his own research about hair. He discusses the importance of sunlight, certain types of shampoos, vitamins and other factors impacting hair loss such as aging, heredity as well as the differences between male and female hair loss. He examines the pro/con of hair transplantation, topical solutions, and other remedies. Honestly, I felt like I received a PhD in 'hair-ology' myself after reading this book. The author extensively analyses using laser phototherapy in the restoration of lost hair. He knows quite a lot about lasers because he was hired by NASA for his laser expertise to work on the space shuttle. Bottom line: If you are losing your hair and want solutions to the problem, then read this book. You'll come away with many answers and a plan of action.

Cutting edge technology to counteract hair loss
Former NASA scientist Tamim Hamid authors this extensively researched book on all things hair. The seasoned laser scientist and inventor documents how anyone; male or female, can stop and reverse the process of hair loss and damage, including growing new healthier hair. The book highlights everything from the various types of hair to factors that affect hair, including genetics, stress, environment and so many more. It goes further to present the cutting edge technology of phototherapy as an effective treatment for hair loss. I'm deeply fascinated by the topic of hair, hair loss and how to attain healthy hair. As such, I found the book to be quite the treasure-trove of knowledge. The book is undoubtedly a gem for anyone interested in the topic and particularly for individuals suffering from hair loss or generally unhealthy hair.
Well Researched and Documented
The author strikes an authoritative tone in Grow It Back, supporting his arguments with documented facts. With so many scam products on the market, it's refreshing to discover someone who takes the time to completely explain the causes of a problem--hair loss--and discuss in depth why the advocated method is different and effective. The text answered many of my questions and left me with much food for thought. Definitely worth your time if you're grappling with this issue.
Great book
I was very curious about Laser phototherapy and wanted to do more research. This book touched upon a lot of that technology and also went into a lot about drugs and supplements for people who are experiencing hair loss or thinning. The book is easy to read and understand and went into a lot of helpful info. I highly recommend it even if you are just experiencing a little hair thinning.
A factual book about Hair Loss and how to grow your hair back.
This is an amazing book full of information and facts. I never would think of hair loss as being something medical, but now I can see how hair loss would devastate some people and cause depression, stress and doubt. Mr. Hamid gives factual information to help men and women through hair loss and all the other medical situations that accompany hair loss. You have completed an amazing book. Congratulations!
Hair, Lasers, A must read for Everyone!
Loved the book, easy read, very informative about your 'Hair'! It's amazing how we just take hair for granted; however, after reading the book, you will know how to take BETTER care of your hair, including LPT application and usage. Hormonal hair loss solutions
This was an extremely helpful book. I've been experiencing menopausal hair loss over the past 2 yrs. and not finding a satisfactory solution, and everywhere I searched had misinformation and conflicting info. This answered every question (and more) about hair loss and how to finally improve my hair volume.
A Must-Read if you Suffer From Hair Loss
Anyone suffering from hair loss must read this book! It answers all those lingering questions you have about hair loss treatments, surgeries, creams, potions, gadgets. Incredibly enlightening, easy to read and it is written so that complex physics concepts are easily understood. I don't think I've ever read a book where every chapter has a "wow, I never knew that!" kind of moment.
It's never too late
Losing your hair is devastating. No other way to describe it. What it does to your confidence is terrible. This book not only has given me hope. But shows what is possible. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!
Amazing book!
Before reading 'Grow it Back', I was skeptical about LPT. The vast amount of research that went into this book is very impressive, I feel like I am an expert in hair and made me a believer in LPT
Highly recommend
There's a lot of solid science used to create this book. I'm now more intrigued than ever to try laser phototherapy to improve my thinning hair. Great info for everyone interested in how to get better hair.
Love it!!
Good stuff!! I will be sharing this book and info with my mother since we both suffer from hair loss. Cant wait to see if we can "grow it back"!
Great Book
I really loved this book!
Highly recommend this book
I have been researching hair transplant surgery for my father-in-law and came across this book. It is an invaluable source of info about all types of hair restoration methods- I only wish I read this sooner -he would have been able to stop or reduce his genetic hair loss. I think he is too far advanced now, though, lol. But I think I might try LPT to keep my hair young.
Very Informative book
Pleasantly surprised how easy this book was to read and the way it was written so that I didn't need a degree in physics to understand lasers and how they work on stopping hair loss. It's written by a guy who worked with lasers at NASA and it's clear that his information is based in science- I like that. I got this book after hearing about lasers for hair growth in an article I read, but there's not a lot of good info out there. This book is a great reference for EVERYTHING I need to know about my hair loss and how to slow it down and start getting my own hair back.
An easy and super informative read - highly recommend!
If you are experiencing hair loss or insecurity or have a loved one who is - this is a must read! The author really knows his stuff. I love that this book isn't only about products, it goes into the science behind what happens during hair loss and how it can be fixed. The graphics are great and really helped me visualize the processes involved. Having a biomedical background myself, I appreciated how the author was able to communicate technical details and scientific studies into entertaining but informative stories...definitely a recommend!

Appears Laser Phototherapy Can Restore Lost Hair, 'Grow It Back' Say Yes!!
'Grow It Back: How Laser Phototherapy Stops Hair Loss and Regrows Your Hair' is an extensive book filled with fantastic information and strategies for slowing hair loss and growing new hair. First thing that is needed is a healthy or healthier scalp, a required component for promoting growth and giving the tools used a better chance to work. Now the key part of this process, developed by Tamim Hamid, a laser expert who used to work for NASA, is Laser Phototherapy, referred to throughout this reference style book as LPT. Everything is covered in 'Grow It Back,' from the nature of hair, the structure and how everyday life, genetics, stress, hormones, sunlight, heat and other factors play a role in hair loss and growth. Men and women have pattern baldness issues and they are explained carefully. His device, called the 'Theradome' and fitted with 80 powerful lasers, is a form fitting helmet that promotes hair growth. One thing I found interesting was that it will only work if one is in the midst of hair loss, this because the scalp is still healthy, but if one's hair loss has stopped, then the scalp structure will not support new hair growth. If hair transplant surgery was performed, then Hamid recommends LPT to enhance the new growth. Also, treatment with LPT is supplemented shampoos, conditioners, or other compounds like Vitamin D, Saw Palmetto, Curcumin and the like. Each chapter finishes with an 'Actual Customer Success Story.' Treatment is a long term process for success to be achieved. Hamid also goes through the various FDA approved hair loss treatments like Minoxidil, going through how it works and the side effects and prospects for long term success. Hamid's treatments focus on 'restoring hair-cell health.' Future treatments, like Hair Cloning, are also looked at in a book that has a mountain of information worth learning about. There are also many cautionary tales in terms of buying into snake oil products that are a waste of time and money. More research is needed as other benefits, such as cognitive brain functions or repairing damaged skin, appear to be helped by LPT. The Appendix in Grow It Back is indeed impressively massive and detailed. Brad Butler, Author of 'Without Redemption.'
Great piece
If I had to describe "Grow it Back" in one word, it would be 'thorough!' NASA scientist Tamim Hamid looks at every step of hair loss and growth in a way that is easy for anyone to understand, and it is backed up by science and real-life examples that create a compelling narrative. In the first chapter, Tamim discusses the many uses and benefits of light, and how we have been able to harness it using lasers for a multitude of purposes. This includes basic health benefits, medicine, and laser phototherapy (LPT), which has become a key factor in solving hair loss. The next few chapters provide an in-depth look into human hair. From its growth, to the causes of hair loss, to how different products affect our hair, this explains everything you could possibly need to know about hair! Next, he dives into the current popular hair loss treatments, and why they work or don't work. Finally, he discusses LPT, providing a thorough background of it, dispelling myths, and answering frequent questions. He has implemented LPT into a device to treat hair loss, Theradome, based on his profound knowledge. This book is the perfect introduction to such a product, as it explains not just what it is, but why it works. Tamim has a way of writing that will get you hooked, even on such a scientific topic. Every page was brimming with knowledge, and his arguments were backed up by scientific studies and facts, all cited in an extensive appendix at the end of the book. He also includes photos alongside the case studies, as well as a handy glossary that keeps the information accessible to the average person. He makes it clear from the beginning of the book that this is not direct medical advice, but is simply to provide education and entertainment, which it succeeds at doing to the highest degree. I would highly recommend "Grow it Back" to anyone suffering from hair loss or even to those who just want a better understanding of their hair.
I have to try this
In 'Grow It Back,' everything is discussed, including the composition and nature of hair as well as the ways in which stress, hormones, sunlight, heat, and other outside factors, as well as genetics, affect hair development and loss. It is hard for some people who love hair like I do. But it is difficult to stop it from. I can't embrace baldness because that's not who I want to become and so the author has done a great job educating me here. Hair loss is a terrible thing. It has a bad effect on your confidence. Not only has this book offered me hope. It has demonstrated what is feasible. I'm grateful. Pattern baldness difficulties are specific to males and women and are described in detail. The 'Theradome,' is a form-fitting helmet that stimulates hair growth and is equipped with 80 strong lasers. I can't go to all the science, since I am not one, but this NASA scientist has done an amazing job and I am very happy to start my try and see what will happen but as I am understanding, many people who have used this method have had a very positive outcome and I am sure I will too. Thanks a lot for this wonderful invention you are sharing with the world!
The most extensive guide to hair loss!
I would highly recommend "Grow it Back" to anyone suffering from hair loss or even to those who just want a better understanding of their hair!
The only book you need if you have problems with your hair
This book is seriously comforting. I pretty much had given up hope for my hair. I felt a bit lost and like I was a sucker for even trying to fight it - but this book is a game changer. It explains lasers and how they can help you, but it also goes through the whole reason for hair loss, and gives you a little toolkit of things that work together. It's totally science-based and clearly written by a scientist who understands the whole problem of hair loss and how to fix it. I am excited to try this program as I feel like there's really good reason to think it will actually work.
