GOOD VALUE
Theradome rubber pegs facilitate the helmet treatment. They help separate the hair so the scalp receives maximum exposure to laser light. They're also set at a distance so when contacting the scalp, it optimizes light absorption. Using the foam pads helps ensure a better fit and less pressure on the scalp. We may offer some additional foam pads for free.
The rubber pegs inside the helmet are not supposed to hurt your scalp. Usually, if there is a lot of sensitivity, this means that there is some inflammation on the scalp, but we would strongly suggest continuing using the helmet as this will get better over time.
