The Theradome laser helmets do not use any flashing, strobing or pulsing lasers so this is absolutely safe for epileptic patients. The Theradome uses a continuous beam and the laser beams are contained inside the helmet therefore there are no stray laser beams that would affect a user during a treatment.
We are aware that photosensitivity for customers with certain forms of epilepsy can cause seizures that are triggered by rapidly flickering lights or fast-paced graphics or strobing/pulsing / flashing lights. The Theradome will not cause any seizures especially a seizure that is brought on by visual reflex seizure, a photosensitive seizure, or a photo convulsive seizure as we have absolutely no flickering light sources in our laser phototherapy devices.
