Many customers ask whether using Theradome can cause split ends or damage the hair shaft.
The short answer is no. Theradome treatments are designed to target the scalp and hair follicles, not the ends of the hair.
The visible portion of the hair is made primarily of keratin and consists of non-living cells.
As new hair grows from the follicle, older sections of the hair shaft are gradually pushed farther away from the scalp. Over time, these older hair fibers may become dry, weakened, or damaged, leading to split ends.

Theradome is designed to support the hair follicles located beneath the scalp.
Because split ends occur on the oldest portions of the hair shaft (which are no longer living tissue) Theradome cannot cause split ends.
