Can I Use Theradome on Permed Hair

Yes, you can use your Theradome after perming your hair.

However, we recommend waiting at least 8 hours after the perm treatment before using your Theradome helmet. Your hair should also be completely dry before starting a treatment session.

Why Should I Wait 8 Hours?

After a perm treatment, the hair and scalp may still contain moisture and residual perm solution.

Using your Theradome too soon may allow some of that solution to transfer onto the inside of the helmet, where it could leave residue on the clear lens surfaces.

Keeping the interior lens clean helps ensure the laser light can pass through without obstruction and perform as intended.

Make Sure Your Hair Is Dry

Before starting a treatment, confirm that your hair is completely dry.

Many hairstylists also recommend avoiding washing your hair for approximately 48 hours after a perm to help the treatment fully set.

Can Theradome Affect My Perm Results?

Theradome's laser technology may help support the natural closing of the hair cuticle following a perm treatment.

This can contribute to:
