What to Do When There's Moisture Inside the Shell of Theradome?

If you notice moisture or condensation inside your Theradome helmet, there is usually no need for concern. In most cases, this is a temporary condition caused by differences in temperature and humidity.

Why Does Moisture Form Inside the Helmet?

Condensation occurs when warm, humid air comes into contact with a cooler surface.

A common example is a bathroom mirror fogging up during a hot shower. The same effect can occur inside your Theradome helmet when the surrounding air is warmer and more humid than the helmet itself.

What Should I Do?

If you notice condensation inside the helmet:

1. Move the helmet to a cooler, well-ventilated room.
2. Avoid using or storing the helmet in a hot, steamy environment.
3. If you have recently showered, towel-dry your hair before starting a treatment.
4. Allow the helmet to air dry naturally with proper ventilation.

These steps will help reduce moisture buildup and allow any condensation to dissipate more quickly.

Will Condensation Damage My Theradome?

No.

Temporary condensation inside the helmet will not affect normal Theradome operation and will typically dry out on its own when the helmet is placed in an environment with proper airflow and ventilation.

Tips to Prevent Future Condensation

To minimize moisture inside the helmet:

• Avoid using Theradome immediately in a hot, steamy bathroom.
